Thailand Knowledge Park Ban Pru

History: Thailand Knowledge Park Ban Pru or TK park Ban Pru is part of the education promotion project of Ban Pru City Municipality. Under the concept of “Living Library”, the park is aimed to be a resource for lifelong learning, to increase access to educational materials and to be an alternative way of acquiring knowledge through its technology.
TK park Ban Pru is a 3-story building. The first floor consists of a kid zone, an open arena, a recreation corner, an electronic library, the TK coffeeshop. A reading park, a reference books corner, a magazine corner and a silent room are on the second floor while the third floor is for a mini-theater.

New membership fee:
- Age 3-6: Free
- Age 7-20: 50 baht
- Age 21-69: 100 baht
- Senior citizens aged above 70, monks and people with disabilities are exempted from the fee
Membership renewal fee:
- Age 7-20: 25 baht
- Age 21-69: 50 baht
Borrowing and Returning: Members can borrow 2 books for 7 days at a time
Deposits:
- Thai books 200 baht/ item
- Foreign language books 500 baht/ item
Overdue fees:
- Thai books 10 baht/ item/ day
- Foreign language books 10 baht/ item/ day
- In the case of lost or damaged library material, borrowers are liable for charges according to the actual cost of the item plus 100 baht fee.
