Phayao Science and Astronomy Park

History: Built to honor His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol, the park near Phayao Lake is a home for Phayao Science and Astronomy Park, which consists of a science exhibition building and a planetarium, and Phayao Knowledge Park. Born out of a collaboration between Phayao Provincial Administration Organization and Thailand Knowledge Park (TK park), the place wants to prepare Phayao residents for the rapidly-changing world through its “Living Library” and creative workshops about information technology.
