Masterclass 1: The Creation Process

How to come up with creative ideas? How to succeed in the first stages of making a film? Writing, character design, storyboards or pre-production will be discussed.
Speaker: Pierre-Luc Granjon is a French animator, director and illustrator. His works include The Four Seasons of Leon (Les Quatre saisons de Léon, 2007-2012) and The Big Beast (La Grosse bête, 2013)
Masterclass 2: Produce Animation

Key information on the production process. Subjects discussed will include: asset management, production optimization, support programs.
Speaker: Corinne Destombes is Editorial Director of Folimage Studio and collaborates regularly in juries, debates and workshops in France and abroad.
Masterclass 3: Festivals & Markets

How to make an Animation film successful in festivals and markets? Life of an animation film, presence in key rendezvous, funding, strategies, program planning and marketing.
Speakers: Géraldine Baché, Corinne Destombes, Pierre-Luc Granjon
Géraldine Baché is Festivals and Markets Expert, Head of Animation du Monde (MIFA-Annecy). At present she focuses on young talents, providing direction in early stages of their projects and fostering the production process. Mifa Pitches help them every year to introduce their works to professional audience and to find suitable partners.
