Mr. Kittiratana Pitipanich, Deputy Director of the Office of Knowledge Management and Development and the Director of Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park) shared his knowledge and experience in digital marketing communications in creative learning at the special seminar DIGIMANIA: Digital Marketing Communications & UTOPIA, which is a collaboration between TK Park and Bangkok University, on the agenda of celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Master of Communication Arts program Digital Marketing Communication (DiMC), Bangkok University, held at the TK Park Learning Park on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
The presentation brings the story of the TK Park Institute's development over nearly two decades, summarizing the creation of a sustainable learning ecosystem for people of all ages and contexts. It portrays a Utopian world of learning that the educators dream of. These stories begin with the establishment of the first learning space in the heart of Bangkok and the development of a model for managing a robust learning environment. Over time, TK Park has adapted and expanded its cooperation at local and community levels, resulting in a network of nearly 300 living libraries throughout Thailand so far. However, the core of this development lies in shifting the focal point from the books, which was the original focus of traditional libraries, to the citizens. As this concept evolves, TK Park's activities and services undergo a continuous process of design, selection, experimentation, improvement, and collaboration with various sectors to effectively meet the ever-changing needs and context of users and society, while addressing the limitations and challenges that arise from these changes.
In addition, Mr. Kittiratana also discussed the current and near-future challenge that is being discussed in every industry: Artificial Intelligence (AI). TK Park, as a leader in using digital media to provide creative learning services, sees that AI will be an innovation that will dramatically change the way people learn, leading to new possibilities we may not have imagined before. The world may be further divided, not between AI and humans, as some of us worry, but between humans who use AI as a tool and those who do not. TK Park's next step is therefore to focus on the future and finding ways to enhance human skills to be able to think, analyze, reason and adapt flexibly to handle such powerful AIs as structured intelligence tools to really create a learning Utopia in the future.
